# App terms of service

Terms for connecting your social media accounts to the CLAQON app and publishing with it. The rules of this website are in its terms of use, and the software is governed by its licence.

Welcome to CLAQON. By connecting your social media accounts or using our video creation and publishing platform, you agree to comply with these terms of service and the community rules of the associated networks.

## 1. Service description

CLAQON provides editing, assisted rendering and scheduled publishing tools for audiovisual content on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels, through their official application programming interfaces (APIs).

## 2. Authorised use and accounts

By using our services and linking your social media credentials, you represent and warrant that:

- you are the rightful owner or an authorised administrator of the linked TikTok or other social media account;
- all the audiovisual material, text, images and audio you publish through the system have the rights or licences required for public distribution;
- you will not use the platform to distribute illegal, defamatory, fraudulent or misleading content, or content that violates the TikTok Terms of Service.

## 3. Compliance with TikTok rules

Use of the direct posting feature on TikTok is subject at all times to the [TikTok Community Guidelines](https://www.tiktok.com/community-guidelines) and the TikTok Developer Terms. The platform includes artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) disclosures where appropriate, in line with industry standards.

## 4. Intellectual property

You retain all intellectual property rights to the content you choose to publish. The owner of CLAQON claims no ownership of your videos, audio or trademarks.

## 5. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for temporary suspensions of third-party services, including changes to the TikTok or YouTube APIs, or for account cancellations resulting from community rule violations outside our technical management.

## 6. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms periodically to reflect technical improvements or legal requirements. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated version.
